Accumulo di energia

Più aumenta la potenza eolica e solare sulla linea, più diventa difficile e costoso assicurare la stabilità della rete. L'accumulo intermedio di energia appare quindi fondamentale per mantenere entro limiti gestibili la fluttuazione di potenza sulla rete. Inoltre, con la progressiva diminuzione delle tariffe incentivanti (FIT), aumenta sempre più il potenziale commerciale dei dispositivi domestici di accumulo che aumentino l'autoconsumo. L'accumulo intermedio di energia consente di aumentare l'autoconsumo della potenza eolica e/o solare raccolta. Il passo naturale successivo è il 100% di autoconsumo e l'indipendenza dalla rete di alimentazione.
